Amon C. Austin - Midstream & Geophysical Operations

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Amon attended Tulane University and has a BBA in Business with emphasis on Marketing and Management. Amon has an extensive background in oil & gas exploration, projects, and finance.  He also has a strong background in the technology industry as it pertains to energy and many other verticals. Amon currently is a managing partner for K2 Capital Management, LLC – a merchant banking company.  He also serves as the President of K2 Capital Investments, LLC – oil and gas Investment Company based in Dallas, Texas.  At K2 Capital Investments, he spends his time drilling, investing and architecting oil & gas and alternative energy projects. Amon has a valuable network of partners and connections in the Investment Banking, Technology and Energy industries.  Prior to his career in finance and energy, Amon was the Network Attached Storage Specialist for Sun Microsystems Inc. – a global technology leader with a market cap over $20 Billion.  While with Sun, he worked with many of the leading oil and gas companies to design and architect solutions for managing all types of data including seismic.  Amon has a tremendous amount of experience creating out of the box solutions to problems while maintaining a solid return on investment.   Amon is a founding partner of Little Pine Resources and is responsible for transportation operations for drilling, pipeline infrastructure, midstream and geophysical operations, technology and government relations.
